Presentation Virtualization (Terminal Services)
Presentation virtualization separates the graphics and user-interface layer from the processing layer of an application, virtualizing the presentation of specific applications or entire desktops, and thus enabling the consolidation of applications and data in the data center while providing broad access to local and remote users working on desktops or thin clients. Desktop Virtualization (Vista Enterprise Centralized Desktop)
Desktop virtualization and virtual desktop infrastructure create separate and typically multiple desktop operating system environments either on the desktop or hosted on a server.
